Dark Romance Jewelry Armoire

I’m calling this my dark romance jewelry armoire. The pink imparts a feminine touch but the smoky black gives it mysterious darkness. I love doing feminine furniture with an edge. Some of my work is soft and delicate but there is another side that’s full of secrets and longing. We all have our own mysteries that we don’t share. Sometimes it comes out as melancholy that nobody will fully understand us. Our true nature is not as simple as our outward appearance. We have complexities that make us unique.

I used Rustoleum’s Carbon mist and Champagne pink. I created a texture effect to give it an unexpected twist. The sides have the Hokus Pokus Transfers Australia and New Zealand called Le Velo. The front has the Jardin de Roses transfer. You can catch my live applying the transfers.
