Regal Louis IV style bombe commode painted in dark emerald green. The unique curved shape gives it a seductive air while the solid brass ormolus, trim, fixtures, and hardware impart luxury. This antique and high-end chest of drawers have been transformed into a work of art with an old-world painting design on the front of an aristocratic woman wearing a rich green and gold satin gown. Her gaze is cast downwards demurely. The crackle texture is to mimic 16th-century artworks aged finish. Extravagant and yet elegant the baroque style is enhanced by the mysterious and beautiful woman dressing in the shadows. There are 3 dovetailed drawers in excellent condition. The top is green marble. It's a palatial dresser that will impart baroque grandeur to any room.
